SAMBA, May 4: Ramgarh police arrested seven gamblers along with Rs 3220 stake money and playing cards.
As per police spokesman, acting on a specific information received from DSB Samba, a team from Ramgarh Police Station conducted raid at Rajwal and arrested seven gamblers along with Rs 3220 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Gouri Shankar, son of Ram Bilash, Santosh Kumar, son of Lakshmi Parshad, Maha Dev, son of Foul Singh, Shotu Kumar, son of Jakru, Raj Kumar, son of Dhoua Ram, Jagdish Raj, son of Jhardu Ram and Ram Kumar, son of Dev Raj, all residents of Chhattisgarh, at present Rajwal.
All the gamblers were booked under Section 13 of Gambling Act at Police Station Ramgarh.
Police team led by SHO Ramgarh Inspector Bhupinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of Baljeet Singh, SDPO Vijaypur and Anil Magotra, SSP Samba.
