JWAM holds protest, demands CBI probe into Rasana case

JAMMU, May 4: Demanding CBI probe into Rasana case, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) held protest, here today.
The protesters led by Sunil Dimple, President, JWAM raised slogans against the Government and also burnt the effigy of the Government for not handing over the Rasana case to CBI.
While speaking, Dimple said that to carry out fair investigation, Rasana case should be handed over to CBI, so as to punish the guilty and save the innocents.
He also flayed the BJP leaders for remaining silent over the demand of deportation of illegal immigrants. Dimple demanded withdrawal of tribal policy and deportation of illegal immigrants (Rohingyas and Bangladeshi) from the Jammu region.
“We will call Jammu bandh on the visit of Prime Minister to Jammu and Kashmir if our demands are not taken seriously”, he said and served one week time to the Government to address the issues including CBI probe into Rasana case, deportation of illegal immigrants from Jammu region and withdrawal of tribal policy otherwise JWAM will call for Jammu bandh and for any untoward incident, the Government will be responsible.
Among others present were Sham Saroop, Harbans Tondon, Chaman Pawar, Dr ON Pandita, Kala Kumahar, Ashok Khana, Thodu Ram, Dev Raj, Bharat Bhushan, Vicky, Babu, Ram Das, etc.
