KATHUA: Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment Choudhary Lal Singh hosted ‘At Home’ here in connection with the 68th Republic Day celebrations.
A galaxy of artists presented spellbound performances on the occasion. The artists comprising Joginder Kumar, Vikram Charbathia, Jeevan Sharma and Surjeet Singh of Information Department presented mesmerizing performances in Hindi, Dogri songs.
“Jammu Diyan Tara-Miraan” by Jeevan Sharma got great appreciation of the audience.
While speaking on the occasion, Lal Singh appreciated the artists for presenting an enthralling cultural programme. He said such events help in preservation and promotion of rich Dogra culture of the state.
PCCF, A K Singh, Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Ramesh Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr Bharat Bhushan, SSP Kathua Pawan Parihar, senior officers of forest and police department besides district administration and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
