SRINAGAR, May 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE) today conducted Polytechnic Entrance Test (PET) in various centres at Jammu and Srinagar.
In a statement issued today, BOPEE said a total of 8175 candidates had registered for the entrance test, out of which 6759 candidates appeared while 1416 candidates remained absent.
The entrance test was monitored by members of monitoring squad in eight centres at Srinagar and three centers at Jammu and was conducted in a smooth manner.
During the test Controller of Examinations, Banwarilal Gupta, Secretary BOPEE, Khurshid Ahmad Shah and Deputy Secretary (Law) PL Sharma visited various centres at Srinagar for on-spot inspection.
