Max Clinics completes 2nd successful year in J&K

JAMMU, May 10: Max Clinics completed two successful years in J&K today with success rate of 90 percent and creating a milestone in the history of medicine by becoming the first healthcare provider in the region to reach 775 mark of patients from J&K only.
This was informed by Dr Manish Manocha, Group Head, Max Clinics J&K, while addressing a press meet, here today.
“We have been able to touch so many patients from across the State. Our experience with so many patients from J&K and their families has taught us so much about their culture and similarities between our societies. We feel sense of accomplishment by the faith and courage shown by our patients, who have travelled such long distances for the treatment,” he said.
Max Clinics (A chain of superspeciality OPD clinics) is a joint venture between country’s top healthcare providers, having two clinics in J&K one in Jammu and another in Srinagar. Its two more clinics will start working at Ramban and Rajouri from July, 2017. This is the first of its kind set up in J&K backed up with 27 specialities, with more the 600 operational beds, 29 operation theatres, 138 ICU beds, round the clock pharmacy, NABL accredited laboratories, 24 hours emergency services.

Recently the Max started J&K’s first and only dedicated foot and ankle clinic, where one can take expert advice regarding foot and ankle problems.
“We introduced Diabetic foot scanner, first in the State, is the planter pressure mapping technology. It provides information about the pressure distribution on foot and loading of the anatomical structures of the foot. The diabetic foot scanner system produces high resolution image of planter pressure distribution with multi colour graphic image,” he informed.
