RAJOURI, May 5: The police seized six Tata mobile vehicles with 13 bovine animals and arrested eight persons in this connection today.
Police parties from Dharamsal, Nowshera and Kalakote, under the supervision of Addl SP Nowshera Parshotam Lal and DySP Pardeep Singh seized six vehicles loaded with 13 bovine animals early today and arrested eight persons in this connection. Those arrested were identified as Naveed Khan, Ravi Kumar from Kalakote, Mohd Latief and Mohd Shafiq from Chhatral in Mendhar, Mohd Abbas, Shafiq Ahmed and Mohd Akhtar from Manjakote and Naseer Ahmed, son of Ghulam Abbas from Manjakot. The vehicles seized are- JK11/ 2842, JK11A/ 3040, JK-11A/0746, JK-11A/3680, JK-11/ 7969 and JK-11 2215. The police registered cases and started investigation.
