62 officers transferred

JAMMU, July 16: The Government today carried out a major reshuffle in the civil administration by ordering transfer and postings of 62 officers including IAS and KAS and giving additional charge of the Departments to some of the officers.
An official handout said that the transfers and postings were ordered with a view to ensure smooth functioning of various Departments/Organizations for assured public delivery, fill up critical positions, posting of such officers, who were awaiting adjustment and meet other administrative exigencies.
Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon,  Principal Secretary to the Government, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, will also hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, in addition to his own duties, relieving Saugat Biswas, Transport Commissioner, J&K of the additional charge of the post.
Shahid Anayatullah, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, will also hold the charge of the post of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Farooq Ahmad Lone, Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency, J&K, holding additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, SPV, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department. The officer will look after the charge of Administrative Secretary, Social Welfare Department, relieving Asif Hameed Khan, Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department of the additional charge of the post.
Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, will also hold the charge of the post of CEO, Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for Srinagar City for implementation of the Smart City Project, under the Smart City Mission.
Satesh Razdan, Development Commissioner (Works), will hold the charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, awaiting orders of adjustment in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, was posted as Director, Area Planning and ex-officio Special Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, against an available vacancy.
Doifode Sagar Dattatray, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, was transferred and posted as Special Officer in the Cell for Monitoring Flagship Programmes and Mega Projects.
Owais Ahmed, Additional Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, under orders of transfer as Director, Tribal Affairs, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, vice Showkat Aijaz Bhat,
G A  Sofi, Secretary (Technical) in the Transport Department, was transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Horticulture, Produce, Marketing and Processing Corporation, vice Syed Abul Qasim, who is repatriated to his parent
Rehana Batul, Additional Commissioner in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Director General, Rural Development, Jammu, vice Mohammad Mumtaz Ali.
Zubair Ahmad, Special Secretary to the Government, Home Department, was transferred and posted as Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board, against an available vacancy.
Ravi Kanth, Secretary in the J&K State Water Resources Regulatory Authority, has been transferred and posted as Member, J&K Special Tribunal.
Asif Hameed Khan, Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department, looking after the work of Administrative Secretary, Social Welfare Department, was transferred and posted as Director Libraries.
Amit Sharma, Regional Director, Survey and Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Officer), Udhampur, was transferred and posted as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jammu, vice Choudhary Rashid Azam Inqalabi.
Tasaduq Jeelani, Director, Estates, has been  transferred and posted as Director, Tourism, Kashmir, relieving Mehmood Ahmad Shah, Joint Director, Tourism, Kashmir of the additional charge of the post.
Abdul Rashid War, Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, holding additional charge of the post of Project Director, Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, State Rural Livelihood Mission, J&K, vice Bakshi Javaid Humayaun, who is repatriated to his parent organization.
Rahul Sharma, Member, J&K Services Selection Board, was transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, vice Rehana Batul.
Hashmat Ali Yatoo, awaiting orders of adjustment in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, was posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department.
