JAMMU A fresh batch of 599 Amarnath pilgrims today left from Yatri Niwas base camp for the holy cave shrine in South Kashmir.
The pilgrims this early morning left in a cavalcade of 19 vehicles, including six Light Motor Vehicles and 13 buses, from here chanting ‘bam bam bhole’.
The yatris comprised of 369 males, 133 females and 97 sadhus. The pilgrims left for Pahalgam and Baltal.
“The Yatra is smoothly heading on the highway,” a police official here said. (AGENCIES)
