50 percent youth to be inducted in BSP committees: Kashyap

JAMMU, Jan 7: Lauding his party chief, Mayawati’s decision to restructure the organization, Member Parliament (MP) and general secretary Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Narinder Kumar Kashyap in a statement issued here said that BSP will induct at-least 50 percent youth in all organizational committees to be framed in future.
He said that National president BSP and former Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh, Mayawati has given the responsibility of party affairs of Jammu and Kashmir to him along with incharge Gurnam Choudhary to strengthen it at the grass-root level.
Admitting the defeat of the party in 2014 Assembly elections, Mr Kashyap said that the restructured organization will go into the philosophy of the reason behind the defeat of BSP, adding that the party will leave no stone unturned in strengthening it at all fronts.
On his two-day visit to J&K with regard to taking stock of the cause of defeat in the Assembly elections, Mr Kashyap informed that his party will celebrate January 15, 2015, the birthday of Mayawati as the Birth Welfare Day across the Country.
