50 kanal Forest land retrieved in Surankote

POONCH, Sept 24: The Forest Department sleuths along with FPF staff and police today smashed five structures and removed encroachment  on nearly 50 kanal of  land in Surankote area today.
Official sources said that the Forest team led by Range Officer,  Surankote Nissar Hussain, under the supervision of DFO Poonch,  Anwar  Aftab Shah organised an operation and dismantled five temporary structures and retrieved about 50 kanal of land which had been grabbed by three villagers of the same area under Compartment No. 251 of Surankote Forest Range. It had been grabbed by Ikhlaq Ahmed, Abdul Ghani and Said Mohammed, residents of Sanei.
Forest Protection Force team  and police also assisted the Forest  team, during the operation near village Sanei in Surankote. The DFO, Mr Shah directed the RO Surankote to take the control of the retrieved land and deploy FPF men there and ensure fencing.
