MENDHAR, Mar 27: The flying squad of  Education Department detected mass-copying in an exam centre  at Mendhar town and framed five–unfair means cases while Sub Divisional Magistrate sought inquiry into the matter regarding connivance of  exam staff and their role in instigating students leading to law and order problem.
The flying squad from DIET rushed to Govt Boys Higher Secondary School where Physics paper of  class 10th was going on. They found students indulging in mass-copying. Even some were using books and other material. Upon this the team caught five students red handed and framed unfair means cases against them. They also alleged to have roughed up a student for estranged behavior. The team noticed that this all was not possible without the connivance of the exam staff.
After exam, the  students came out on the road and raised barricades. They raised slogans against DIET team and disrupted movement of traffic for some time. The matter came to the notice of SDM Mendhar who took serious note of the matter and asked Tehsildar to initiate inquiry into the matter.
