KISHTWAR, Feb 29: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajinder Singh Tara today placed five teachers under suspension for unauthorised absent from the duties.
On the directions of DDC, SDMs and Tehsildars conducted surprise checking on the first day of opening of the schools after winter vacation i.e 24-02-2020 in their respective jurisdictions.
During the inspection, Tehsildar Drabshalla found five teachers namely Bindu Bhagat and Assya Banoo of Primary School Dunadi, Mulkh Raj of Primary School Bhutna and Muneera Akhter and Shazia Tariq of Primary School Pani Nalla on unauthorized absent from their duties.
The Chief Education Officer Kishtwar after conducting an inquiry into the matter reported their unauthorised absence.
The suspended teachers were directed to remain present in their respective schools besides Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kishtwar has been asked to conduct in-depth inquiry into the matter and submit the detailed report within 15 days.
