JAMMU, Mar 3: Police today arrested five Over Ground Workers (OGWs) in Marwah area of Kishtwar district for providing shelter and arms and ammunition to militants.
Arrests were made during searches conducted by police in Marwah area after developing specific inputs about the OGW network which was helping the militants active in the district.
They have been identified as Ghulam Hussain son of Mohammad Ramzan, Mohammad Yaseen son of Ghulam Ali, Zakir Hussain son of Farooq Hussain, Mohammad Iqbal son of Habibullah and Bashir Ahmed son of Mohammad Ramzan, all residents of Marwah.
A case has been registered against the OGWs and they were being subjected to questioning to ascertain hideouts of the militants.
