5 injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Dec 16: Five persons were injured in separate road accidents in different parts of Jammu region.
According to a police spokesperson, three persons were injured late last night when the bike they were travelling on was hit by a tractor here at Prem Nagar. All the three injured persons who have been identified as Imtiaz Ahmed (30) son of Mohd Abdullah, Arif (27) son of Bashir Ahmed and Sadiq (18) son of Mustaq Malik, all residents of Malik Market (Jammu), were immediately shifted to GMCH Jammu, where their condition was stated to be stable. The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
A 22-years old youth namely Rakesh son of Krishan Chand, a resident of Mawa in Samba, was also injured when the bike he was riding on was hit by an Alto car at Samba, this afternoon. He was rushed to District Hospital Samba, from where later he was referred to GMCH for specialized treatment.
At Nagrota near Sainik School, a 16-years old boy was hit and left injured by a bike rider when he was crossing the road. The injured boy identified as Mohd Aslam (16) son of Javed Ali, a resident of Nagrota, was shifted to GMCH for treatment by his father. The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
