JAMMU, Oct 14: Five Dy Superintendents of Police, who were under orders of adjustment, have been transferred and posted as Chief Investigating Officers in different districts.
As per an order in this regard, issued today by DGP Dilbag Singh, Massof Ahmad has been posted in District Kupwara, Shafeeq Ahmad in district Sopore, Muhammad Akbar in district Baramulla, Manzoor Ahmad in district Budgam and Nisar Ahmad in district Ganderbal.
Meanwhile, according to a separate order, four Dy Superintendents of Police, posted in Police components Jammu and Srinagar, have been designated as Chief Investigating Officers in addition to their own duties.
They are; Vaseem Mehmood (DySP PC Jammu), Sunil Singh (DySP PC Jammu), Syed Sleet Shah ( DySP PC Srinagar) and Himayun Muzzammil (DySP PC Srinagar).
They shall function under the supervision of concerned Superintendents of Police, Police Component.
