5 DDs made incharge JDs in Prosecution Deptt

JAMMU, Jan 30: Home Department, Jammu and Kashmir, has placed 5 Deputy Directors (DDs) as Joint Directors (JDs) in the Prosecution Department.
As per an order, the officers who have been placed as JDs in their own pay and grade, for a period of six months or till the posts are filled up on regular basis on the recommendations of the DPC/PSC are Maroof Ahmed Manhas, Murtaza Nassir, Riyaz Ahmad Darzi, Mahesh Kumar, and Pawan Kumar Khajuria.
“The arrangements (of officers) are made purely in the interest of the administration, on stop-gap basis, and shall not confer any preferential right on these officers for their promotion, which shall be made strictly in accordance with the Jammu and Kashmir Prosecution Service Recruitment Rules 2020.
“These placements shall also be without prejudice to the outcome of writ petition(s), pending before any court of competent jurisdiction,” ordered Home Department.
