JAMMU, Jan 3: A five-day orientation programme for Master Resource Persons in Science, Mathematics and English began today at State Institute of Education Jammu.
The programme is being organized under the aegis of RMSA in collaboration with NCERT, New Delhi and SIE, Jammu. The Resource Persons in the programme have been drawn from NCERT, New Delhi and from other Regional Institutes like Ajmer and Bhopal. Seventy two participants from the various districts of Jammu division including Leh and Kargil are participating in the training programme.
The programme was inaugurated by Shamim Ahmed Leharwal, State Project Director, RMSA J&K in the presence of Director School Education, Jammu R A Inqulabi.
H R Pakhroo, Joint Director Training and Principal SIE, Jammu, highlighted the aims and objectives of organizing such training programmes for addressing the quality component at secondary level while R A Inqulabi emphasized the need of organizing such programmes for enhancing the quality component in Education.
