DODA, Jan 10: Police here today filed charge sheets in two separate cases under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) before NIA court.
Giving details in this regard, SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta said that all the accused persons charge sheeted have covertly or overtly supported militant groups in Doda district by providing them food and other logistic things.

The first case, registered in FIR No. 70/2024 at Gandoh Police Station, involved accused Shoket Ali, son of Ghulam Ali, resident of Sharakhi (Katyara) Tehsil Bhaderwah.
He was charged under Section 19 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 whereas against three killed foreign terrorists, offences under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 307/120-B/121/122/ IPC as well as Sections 7 and 27 of the Arms Act and several provisions of the UAPA were established.
The case was investigated by SP(PC), Doda.
In second case, registered in FIR No. 14/2024 at Police Station Dessa, the charge sheet named four accused -Muneer Hussain, son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Malwas, at present Dabra, Pranoo, Tehsil & District Doda; Tanveer Ahmed, son of Abdul Samad, resident of Nilsoo, Kulhand, Tehsil & District Doda; Noor Alam, son of Sayad Walie, resident of Baggar, Tehsil Assar, District Doda and Kunj Lal, son of Tarloku, resident of Herani, Assar, Tehsil Assar, District Doda.
The case was investigated by DySP Hqrs Doda.
