RAJOURI, May 31: Police rescued five bovine animals from the clutches of smugglers in Nowshera Thalka area and arrested the accused person.
The bovine animals were being smuggled towards Rajouri in a Tata Mobile (JK12- 3831) , which was intercepted by a Police party, led by SHO Nowshera, Amit Singh at Thalka check point.
Police rescued the animals and arrested the vehicle driver, identified as Imran Ahmed, son of Bashir Ahmed of Rajdhani, Thanamandi. The vehicle was also seized and a case FIR 93/2020 under sections 188 IPC and 11 PC Act has been registered in this connection at Nowshera Police Station.
