JAMMU, Aug 22: Crime Branch Jammu today presented fourth challan in the court of Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu in the much publicized ETT scam.
The fourth charge-sheet has been filed against Dr Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, the then Director Academics and Secretary BOSE, Deep Singh, promoter of Giani Lal Singh ETT Institute, Amar Colony, Gole Gujral, Gurwinder Singh, promoter of Bachpan Playway ETT Institute, Satwari, Harbans Singh of Guru Nanak ETT Institute, Jalo Chak Jammu and Surjeet Singh Jamwal, promoter of Surya ETT and Research Institute, Kathua.
The Crime Branch has also recommended departmental action against two trustees of “Peer Panchal Educational Trust” namely Garpal Singh and his wife Narinder Kour, residents of Ajit Nagar, Jammu, who remained associated with the affairs of the Trust despite being the Government employees.
After going through the challan, Special Judge Anticorruption Sanjeev Gupta fixed September 6 for arguments on charge/ discharge.
