SRINAGAR, May 27: Additional Director General of Police Armed J&K SJM Gillani has issued promotion orders of 463 constables to the rank of Selection Grade Constables (SgCts) in J&K Armed Police.
The promotion orders were issued from Armed Police Headquarters J&K today after the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by ADGP Armed J&K SJM Gillani found them fit for their promotion as Selection Constable.
ADGP Armed SJM Gillani expressed hope that the promoted officials will continue to work with the same zeal and zest and discharge their duties honestly and professionally, upholding the sanctity of public service.
Other DPC members were Shiv Kumar-SSP Commandant JKAP-8th Battalion, Altaf Hussain Khan SSP Commandant IRP-11th Battalion, Mohammad Shafi Rather Chief Prosecuting Officer APHQ, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani DySP (Personnel) APHQ and Krishan Saroop Rathore Incharge Research & Development Branch APHQ.
