SUNDERBANI, Mar 27: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vikas Kundal, Tehsildar Siot, Ravi Shankar today launched anti-encroachment drive in Siot area and retrieved 45 kanal of state land worth crores.
Official sources said that during drive Tehsildar retrieved land under Khasra number 1273 measuring 45 kanal from the illegal occupants namely, Khan Mohammad and his sons. Tehsildar said few months ago that land was retrieved from those people and they again with the intension to re-grab started raising Jhuggis.
The Revenue officials along with police went on the spot and removed his encouragement and fixed sign board of state land there.
