JAMMU, Dec 13: The 44th death anniversary of Shaheed Captain Bahadur Singh, Veer Chakra will be organized on December 15 at village Bhambo Chack, Ramgarh. Members of Shaheed Captain Bahadur Singh, Veer Chakra Samarak Samiti today held a press conference at Vijaypur. During the pres conference Sat Slarvi, general Secretary of the samiti said that Shakeel Ahmed Biegh, DIG Jammu-Kathua Range has consented to be the chief guest on the occasion.
Sat Slarvi also said the meritorious students 8th, 10th and 12th classes of the Government schools of the area will be also awarded during the function. He has also appeal to people to attend the function to give their tribute to Shaheed Captain Bahadur Singh, Veer Chakra who has laid-down his life for the nation during Operation Lilly in 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Balwant Singh, President, Ashok Sharma, Ujagar Singh and Avinash Choudhary, members of the samiti were also present during the press conference.
