JAMMU, May 12: A four-year-old girl child died today in a mishap in Udheywala area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the child namely Gudia daughter of Ramaiya, resident of Chattisgarh and at present living in Om Nagar, Ward 61 (Udheywala) was swinging with a heavy platform ladder made of iron, which fell on her and she sustained serious injuries.
He said the child was immediately taken to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. Pounichak police had taken cognizance of the matter.
