4 more treated, active cases in Jammu down to 40

JAMMU, Apr 17: For third consecutive day today, no COVID-19 positive case was reported from Jammu region while four more persons tested negative twice and were declared as treated and discharged from the Chest Diseases Hospital Jammu.
The discharged persons included two from Rajouri district, one from Hyderpora, Janipura in Jammu and another from Mageini in Udhampur district.
All four were contacts of Tablighi Jamaat cadre.

With this, Rajouri district has become Coronavirus free.
Rajouri had three patients of Coronavirus. While one of them had already been treated and discharged, two others were sent home today.
Chest Diseases Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Rajeshwar Sharma told the Excelsior that number of patients in the hospital has come down from 31 to 27 and all of them were in stable condition.
Rest of the patients were admitted in the Government Medical College Jammu and Gandhi Nagar hospital.
Jammu had total 54 COVID-19 positive patients and now 13 of them have been treated and discharged while there is one death, which left 40 active cases.
