4 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Dec 23: Four persons were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir valley today.
Police said a Maruti car bearing registration number JK15-4248 driven by Javaid Ahmad Ganie, son of Mohammad Rustum, resident of Gulshanpora Bagtore, Gurez hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Nabi Najar, son of late Ghulam Ahmad, resident of Mangipora at Mangipora on Sopore-Bandipora road. The injured was shifted to SMHS Srinagar for treatment.
Police said a Xylo bearing registration number JK05D-2017 on way from Sopore to Sangrama hit and injured a pedestrian Zahoor Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Nabi Mir, resident of Babaraza Sopore. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
A Maruti Alto bearing registration number JK09-4403 on way from Kupwara to Sogam driven by Mohammad Rafiq Shah, son of Rashid-u-Din Shah, resident of Sogam rammed into a Popular tree at Jageer Sogam, resulting in injuries to driver of the car. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment.
Police said a vehicle bearing registration number JK10-3297 on way from Nobra to Leh driven by Mohammad Salman, son of Mohammad Amin, resident of Langkarchay, Kargil fell in a 400 feet deep gorge at Khardongla, Leh, resulting in injuries to the driver of the vehicle. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Leh for treatment.
