SRINAGAR, Dec 23: Fire broke out in a room of a joint residential house of Mohammad Ashraf Sofi, son of Ghulam Hassan Sofi and others at Arawat Ashai Kocha, Srinagar. The room was partially damaged in the incident. Fire was brought under control by Fire tenders.
Fire broke out in the single storey residential house of Ghulam Mohammad Chopan son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din resident of Watloora, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Panzalla, Sopore. The house was completely damaged in the incident. Fire was brought under control by Fire tenders and local police. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
Fire broke out in a shop of Naseema daughter of late Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh resident of Mirakabad Shalimar which engulfed an adjoining shop of Mohammad Ismail Mir son of Mohammad Mir resident of Mirakabad Shalimar. Both the shops were completely damaged in the incident. Fire was brought under control by Fire tenders and local police.
Fire also broke in District Police Lines, Srinagar, in the vicinity of Fire and Emergency Services Department, however, it was brought under control by the Fire and Emergency Services immediately.
