RAJOURI, July 24: Four persons were injured in a group clash over a land dispute in Jawahar Nagar area of Rajouri town this afternoon.
Reports said that family members of Mohd Sadiq Malik and Sikander Parvez ( both relatives), were staking their claim on a piece of land near their house. Malik started construction work of service station at the land near the house and Parvez objected to this construction claiming that land belonged to them.
Over this, both sides had heated exchanges, followed by bloody clash. The locals immediately informed police sensing bloodshed. But the police party arrived late. The four injured persons were later shifted to District hospital, Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter. Both parties have lodged counter FIRs.
