UDHAMPUR, Jan 27: Chenani police arrested four persons along with Rs 7140 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Chenani police station conducted raid in main town area in their jurisdiction and arrested four persons along with Rs 7140 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Gama Singh, son of Partap Singh, Shakeel Ahmed, son of Mohammad Iqbal, Onkar Singh, son of Brij Lal and Shiv Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, all residents of Chenani.
A case under Gambling Act has been registered against them at Chenani police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Chenani police station Inspector Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Chenani Vinod Sharma and SSP Udhampur Suleman Chowdhary.
