JAMMU, Aug 21: Four girl students of Class 10th who went missing from Shopian area, were found in the intervening night of August 20 and 21 at Bathindi in Narwal area of Jammu, police said.
The girls identified as Shagufuta daughter of Aroof, Ruchi daughter of Manjoor, Kangela daughter of Mohd Yaqoob and Fenza daughter of Mohd Amin, were missing since yesterday and a report was also lodged by the family members in concerned police station in Shopian, said a senior police official.
He said the girls wearing school dresses and carrying school bags were found at Bhatindi about 0030 hours today and they were handed over to their family members, who reached Jammu along with a police party of Shopian.
The police official said that nothing could be said how the girls went missing and reached Jammu till the investigations are completed, however the girls revealed that they were brought to Jammu in a Van by some miscreants by blind folding them, he added.
