JAMMU, May 19: Nehru Market police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 3,430 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, police team from Nehru Market police post conducted raid at Bus Stand area in Ware House and nabbed four persons along with Rs 3,430 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Naveen Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, Bachan Singh, son of Ishar Dass, Rajinder Singh, son of Ashok Kumar and Vijay Kumar, son of Parkash Chand, all residents of RS Pura.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Nehru Market police post and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Nehru Market police post SI Khayati Maan Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Gandhi Nagar police station Inspector Paramjeet Singh and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
