JAMMU, Apr 27: Trikuta Nagar police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 6,700 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, a team from Trikuta Nagar police station headed by SHO Chanchal Singh arrested four gamblers, who have been identified as Mandeep Singh, son of Rajbeer of Kunjwani, Mohammad Ayoub, son of Nazir Ahmed of Billawar, Shaid Sarfraz, son of Mushtaq Ahmed of district Kathua and Parmeet Singh, son of Opinder Singh of Malik Market, Channi Himmat.
“Rs 6,700 stake money and playing cards were recovered from their possession”, he added.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Trikuta Nagar police station and investigation started.
