JAMMU, Feb 6: Khour police last night arrested four gamblers and recovered Rs 10,200 worth stake money and 17 cards from their possession.
The arrested gamblers have been identified as Happy Singh son of Bansi Lal, Surinder son of Baldev Singh, Sahil son of Sikander Singh and Kewal Singh son of Baldev Singh, all residents of village Dherian in Khour.
At the time of arrest, police recovered Rs 10,200 worth stake money from the gamblers apart from 17 cards.
They have been booked under 13 Gambling Act at Khour police station. Police party headed by SHO Khour Inspector Surinder Raina under the supervision of Additional SP Jammu ML Kaith.
