JAMMU, June 23: Police today arrested four burglars and recovered stolen goods from their possession.
Police spokesman said that Akhnoor Police arrested two burglars namely Kaka Singh, son Gurmeet Singh of Sohal and Mukesh Kumar, son of Satpaul of Badgal and recovered stolen battery and a tripal worth Rs 35000 from them.
From two more burglars identified as Ravi Kumar alias Raja, son of Sham Lal of Tali Basti, Bari Brahmana and Deepak Kumar, son of Kartar Chand of Bakshi Nagar, police recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 40000.
Meanwhile, Miran sahib Police arrested one Happy, son of Prem Nath of Phinder, who was absconding after kidnapping a girl namely Pooja Devi, daughter of Tilak Raj of Phinder. The girl was also recovered.
