SRINAGAR, June 23: The CPI (M) State Secretary Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami today visited the families of two slain police constables to express solidarity with them.
Expressing deep shock over the incident, Tarigami said violence in any form is no solution to any problem.
He expressed concern over a considerable increase in such targeted attacks on police. He said violence in any form and in any society should have no space as it only bring in untold miseries.
Tarigami said the killing of two constables in a ghastly manner, has left the dreams of another two Kashmiri family shattered. “Kashmir has already paid a huge price during turmoil as thousands of lives were lost leaving behind a trail of tragedies. Today we have a huge population of widows, orphans, destitute and elderly who lost their husbands, fathers, breadwinners and children to the senseless violence,” he said.
