RAJOURI, July 21: The police seized four bovine animals and arrested a smuggler during naka in Thannamandi area during this evening.
A police spokesman said that police naka party led by SHO Thannamandi intercepted one Shabnam Rashid, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Khablan village when he was moving towards Mughal Road with four milch animals. He tried to escape but was over powered by cops. The police seized the animals and arrested him. A case has been registered against him.
