UDHAMPUR, Nov 20: The police rescued four bovine animals and arrested one person in this connection in Udhampur area.
A Police party from Police Station Udhampur headed by SHO, Inspector Raghubir Singh under the supervision of Sahil Mahajan DySP Hqrs. Udhampur, during naka at Jakhani intercepted one vehicle bearing registration number JK19A-0335 for checking purpose. The police team found four bovine animals loaded in the said vehicle without any valid permission and the driver of the said vehicle namely- Mohd Yousuf, son of Mohd Khajar, hailing from Banihal was arrested on the spot.
The police seized the vehicle and rescued all the four bovines. In this connection FIR No. 485/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Udhampur.
