REASI, Mar 21: Police today rescued four bovine animals and arrested three smugglers from Narloo area, falling under the jurisdiction of Arnas police station.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police team from Arnas police station led by SHO Ranjit Singh laid a naka near Narloo area and intercepted a Srinagar bound Tata mobile bearing registration number JK20-5574.
During checking, police rescued four bovine animals and arrested three smugglers, who have been identified as Mohammad Iqbal of Tanasa, Arshad Iqbal of Shikari, Mahore and Mohammad Hussain of Chinta, Mahore.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Arnas police station and investigation started.
