JAMMU: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Ravinder Kumar, who is also the Vice-Chairman of the Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board (SSKSB) today inaugurated the photograph-based Yatra Registration system at Ransoo, the base camp of Shiv Khori Shrine Board here.
Mr Kumar during his address informed that under this new system the shrine board authorities would be in a position to have accurate details of pilgrims with their full particulars like name, addresses and photographs. He said this photo-identity based system was an extremely important step taken by the Board towards the improving Yatra security.
Mahesh Sharma (DTO) Executive Officer SSKSB informed that with this new registration system in place the pilgrims will not have to wait in long queues as large number of counters would be set up for issuing Yatra Access Card. (AGENCIES)
