Nickel declines on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI, Apr 23:  Nickel prices declined by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous market today due to reduced industrial demand.
However, other base metals held steady in thin trade.
Traders attributed the weakness in nickel prices to subdued demand from consuming industries.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4×4) shed Rs 2 Rs 838-843 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 100-106, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 838-843, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 368, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 80, lead imported Rs 86, aluminium ingots Rs 157, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 153, aluminium wire scrap Rs 153 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 151. (PTI)
