SRINAGAR: Security forces arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant along with weapons in Badgam district official sources said here today.
They said on a specific information about the presence of militants, Rashitriya Rifles (RR) and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police today launched a search operation at village Rathsun in Badgam district.
A HM militant identified as Abdul Hamid was arrested without any resistance, they said adding one AK rifle, two magazines, one hand grenade and over 80 rounds of ammunition were recovered from him. (AGENCIES)
