KISHTWAR, Sept 6: Jawalapur Police recovered 300 kilograms of forest produce from Kither forest area in Jawalapur here today.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Jawalapur led by PSI Moin Khan conducted raid in Kither forest area and recovered 300 kilograms of forest produce (khakhdi). The accused on noticing the police party managed to escape from the spot by taking the advantage of dense forest.
A case FIR Number 210/2021 under Sections 379 IPC and 6 Forest Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
