JAMMU, Sept 6: Former Minister, Sat Sharma along with JMC Councillor of Ward 40, Neelam Nargotra started construction works of deep drains at Kamla Palace road in presence of JMC officials, BJP Mandal president Keshav Chopra and District BJP general secretary Rajesh Gupta, here today.
The works will be done with an estimated cost of Rs 11.40 lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the works for construction on this road was taken up sometime back as this road which connects Akhnoor road to Talab Tillo was in a shabby condition. “Now the pending works including construction of deep drain has been taken up with the efforts of the local Councillor and department concerned,” he said.
He further stated that development is the priority for the BJP and under the leadership of Prime Minister, every nook and corner of J&K is being developed to its fullest.
Councillor Neelam Nargotra congratulated the locals for starting a major work in the Ward and said that with the efforts of former MLA many pending works were done which will solve the problems of the locals. She also talked about the works to be taken up in the Ward.
Keshav and Rajesh also talked about the development done in various spheres by BJP and former MLA which gave a major boost to infrastructural development in the Constituency.
JE BK Raina, Satyabhushan Dubey, Yash Pal Shivgotra, Rajesh Saini, Rahul Nargotra, Paramjeet Kour, Praveen Ghai and many others were also present.
