MENDHAR, Nov 16: Three teachers were injured, one of them seriously, when their car skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Sagra village in Balnoi area of Mendhar this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place at around 4.20 pm when the teachers Benia Amin, Mohd Yunis and Niamat Bi were returning from Sagra after the school closed. They are posted at Govt High School there. On way, one of the teachers while driving lost control and their Alto car No. JK02AC/1632 fell into a gorge.
The injured teachers were rushed to Mendhar hospital by the locals where Mohd Yunis was referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu for serious injuries. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
