JAMMU, Nov 21: A team of Police Station Janipur led by SHO, Inspector Nayat Ali here recovered 31 gm heroin from three narco smugglers during a Naka checking.
The smugglers were moving from Muthi towards Roop Nagar on a bike bearing Registration Number JK02CD-8313 and were signalled to stop but they tried to flee. On their search cops found 31 gm heroin and they were arrested.
The trio was identified as Arvind alias Ajay Kumar son of Yash Paul Kaith resident of Chowala, R.S Pura; Davinder Singh son of Padham Singh resident of Dhok Paloura and Ankit Koul son of Sanjay Koul resident of Jagti, Nagrota.
A case in FIR number 120/2021 has been registered U/S 8/21/22/ 29 of NDPS Act at Police Station Janipur.
The overall arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO West, Rahul Nagar. Further investigation of the case was going on.
