SAMBA, Nov 6: The police arrested three accused for their attempt to murder a youth from Samba town near SIDCO Complex here last night.
The people noticed one Man Mohan Singh, son of Pritam Singh of Thalora Mandi lying in the road near SIDCO complex Samba with serious stab wounds and bleeding at around 12 mid night. They informed police station and the police party immediate shifted the victim to Samba hospital where doctors provided preliminary treatment and referred him to GMC hospital Jammu for his serious condition.
The police parties carried out raids during early hours today and arrested three accused while the fourth was still at large. Some old enmity was said to be the reason behind stabbing. Those arrested were identified as Vinod Kumar alias Binny and Pankaj Sharma, residents of Ward No. 3 Samba and Prince Kapoor, resident of Ward No. 7 Samba. One Anil Singh of Thalora Mandi was evading arrest. The police has registered a case under sections 307/364/342 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act against them.
