SRINAGAR, Oct 27: Security forces this evening trapped three militants in Mouchwa area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A joint team of Army’s 50RR, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a cordon and search operation in Mouchwa area on the outskirts of Srinagar this evening after receiving inputs of presence of militants.
As the joint team of security forces encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the security forces, triggering a gun battle.
An official said that three militants have been trapped in the village.
