3 killed, one injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Aug 3: Three persons were killed and one person was injured in road accidents across the Kashmir valley today, police spokesman said.
The spokesman said that a Maruti driver, Abdul Kabir Bagh of Bijhama in Baramulla district, who was injured on Thursday at Banday, Baramulla, succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar, today.
Nissar Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Qadir of Ishbar Nishat, injured in an accident at Ishbar Nishat Chowk, Srinagar, last month also succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura, the spokesman said.
A Motorcycle without registration number driven by Irshad Ahmad Mir, son of Abdul Rahim resident of Trehgam skidded off the road at Chowkibal, Kupwara, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist. He was succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital for treatment.
A Tata sumo JK09/1185 fell down from road at Bumhama near Jamkash, Kupwara, resulting in injuries to the driver Irfan Ahmed Khan, son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Gugtiyal. Khan was removed to SKIMS, Soura, for treatment, the spokesman added.
