3 killed in road accidents

JAMMU, Oct 30: Three persons were killed in two separate road accidents in Ramban district.
Police spokesman said that two persons were killed when a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK19-0232 skidded off the road and rolled down into 600 feet deep gorge on Ramban-Kandhi Road late last night.
Both the occupants of the ill-fated vehicle namely Nazar Mohd, son of Shamas Din of Sangaldan and Pritam Singh, son of Dharamveer Singh of Kandhi died on the spot. Their bodies were brought out of the gorge by the police with the help of locals.
In another accident, one Amarjeet Singh, son of Om Parkash of Punjab was killed and Rahul Kumar, son of Updesh Kumar of Uttar Pradesh sustained injuries when their truck bearing registration number PB10CE-9877 skidded off the road and rolled down into gorge at Ramsoo this morning.
The condition of injured was stated to be out of danger when reports last came in.
