RAJOURI, Mar 16: The police nabbed three persons along with costly 22 sapphire stones here today.
Based upon a specific input, a police team headed by SHO Rajouri, Tahir Khan under the supervision of DySP Headquarters, Jaswant Singh intercepted three persons in Rajouri and put them to frisking, during which 22 Sapphire stones were recovered from them.
They have been identified as Mohd Aslam, son of Imam Din, resident of Thein Dam, Kathua; Noor Alam, son of Mohd Yousaf, resident of Mansar and Mohd Googra, son of Hussain, resident of Manpur.
A case FIR No. 130/2018 U/S 4/5 Saphire Act has been registered at Police Station Rajouri against them and further investigation was in progress.
